Rank for buying Terran gear, Getting marines back from an outpost?
Ok one would think that starting as a Terran would make getting Terran weapons easy...NOTE
What rank do I need to be to start buying Terran weapons.
IN my Vidar the Terran sectors were lit up with missions but when i changed to a scabbard to do trans port missions the light bulb missions went out like a light. Whats with that...all of a sudden there are no missions to run.
I also have 4 marines at a military outpost. Once they finished training they did not re-board my scabbard. They requested pickup when training was done. I have a scabbard at the outpost. Not sure why they are not re-boarding it and I don't know how to pick them up.

Required rank varies by weapon. I think for EMPs you need to be a MArshal of Mars, and for M/AMs you need to be at least a Warrior of Io or there-abouts. It'll tell you what rank you need to be in the bottom right corner whn in the trade screen of the EqD or Outpost.
Dunno why your marines aren't boarding, unless you scabbard cargo bay is full? You need about 6 cargo space per marine IIRC.

Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate
It's 6 for passengers and 9 for marines, IIRC. Also, if cargo space requirement is satisfied, OP need to undock the TP and dock it back to collect the marines.StJude wrote:Required rank varies by weapon. help
OK so so Servent of Terra is required for buying Matter Antimatter guns.
My cargo was full so the marines could not reboard the transport. I cleared some space but the marine still did not reboard the transport. I do not know how or if it can be done manually. Oh and I am trying to do this OOS.

How did you clear the space? Note that TPs can only carry 10 marines. So, unless you cleared off some of the other marines, there is still no place to board. My cargo was full so the marines could not reboard the transport. Also, if you dock a TP with room for Marines (less than 10) the marines at the station will board--even OSS.

The marines do take up cargo space, yes, but the primary limitation for marines is 10/TP. Atthe bottom of the freight window, you'll have a "Marines" section, reading "x/10" and then a list of your marines onboard.Palladin888 wrote:I unloaded some ecells to make room for the marines.
Cargo bay and marine space are one and the same it seems.
Nope. Normal passengers require 6, marines require 8. Final answer.Infekted wrote:....
In addition, ALL passengers including marines require 6 cargo space per person.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

I use the encyclopedia constantly and never noticed this.BDK wrote:A great help is the in-game encyclopedia. There you can check what rank you need for buying specific weapons, and what rank you are currently at for any race & corporation. Plus it has a ton of other info that you'll definitely need later on
