weapon forge and4 stations in aldrin lost

I have spent hours searching for emp forge in aldrin and the other 4 stations are there only 18 stations or 23 :evil: :?

Well there is the potential for 23 there and without knowing your search methods or parameters it is hard for us to say whether you just haven't found them yet or they have been removed by GoD.

Unless you uncover and support the stations in Aldrin with traders or parked ships as soon as you can after the sector is first uncovered then GoD starts removing the ones that are not trading well. The EEMPC Forges added in a patch both there and in the sector next door are amongst the quickest to disappear if you don't supply them or buy the weapons yourself.

I have myself lost both EEMPC Forges and a Weapons Production Base even while I had lots of traders and a basic foodstuffs complex supplying Aldrin 1/2 - I just didn't try to park the ships in them soon enough.

This applies to all Terran sectors, so if you are going to bother the Terran regions you are best taking small fighters with you when opening new sectors and leave one at each weapon factory. They can still get destroyed but gOD willnot touch them!

Leave those around and they cost very little.

Stations have been known to be removed by the GoD engine within a couple of game days, sometimes sooner in some players experience.

It basically happens whenever the GoD engine decides a certain station has no use (I.E. has not been traded with by NPCs or the player for X amount of time).

Personally, i try to get the Terran plot done (whilst securing as many Terran stations as possible with parked Rapiers) and then power my way through the Aldrin plot so I can secure Aldrin stations (usually with parked #deca.deafs).

One Aldrin station went within a week of my new game, and some in Terran space I got ships parked at too late.
It may vary from game to game.
