problems with avarice sector auction

I have for ages been trying to find out how to bid on the sector auction and am getting nowhere, there are bbs messages poping up saying that the biddersa have been thinned out to a few mogul and tycoons.
In areas i have seen that u are sposed to bid via the bbs but there are no buttons to click to bid for the sector. can anyong help out?
the Bala Gi missions have been finished and have over 100 stations in sector Emperors mine

Game play time is 9-11-00
Trading rank is 24% Mogul
Military rank is 46% assassin
Ship is yought of pontifex

How much money do you have? IIRC you'll only be 'allowed' to buy Avarice unless you can outbid the current bidder

If you can't outbid them this tme just wait a bit; Avarice will be put up for auction agan within a few game hours, or maybe a game day or two

i have it now thanks, money wise i had more than enough, sold for 900k and i had 1.2 in funds, 3k spare after sale if system
