Will AP saved games be compatible with Rebirth?

Otherwise I'm going to wait for the real thing (X Rebirth that is)

Since Rebirth has a completely new engine and AP is based on the TC engine i don't think they will be compatible. However, I may be wrong....nah

I really think no, because there is no reason for that with hundreds of years between and stuff.

I was thinking along those lines myself. A also think that it is going to be a new ball game all over again.

Maybe I'm going to chew on this bone they threw at us for the duration anyway.

I thought about that myself, but then I realized that it would be a boring game, starting with an economic empire, unlimited money and a fleet that could take out the whole universe....

I think that the tech on these ships'd be obsolete in XR because, really, hundreds of years.
