X3 AP - Where can you buy a jumpdrive?

G'day All,

Playing X3AP, as Terran Commander - but I cannot find anywhere wherer you can buy a Jumpdrive? You get one with the starting ship (M6), and I am friendly with ALL races except for the Argon. All military bases/eq docks don't seem to sell them, inc Terrans !?!?!?

Atreus HQ, You'll need Boron Core Docking rights first.

You should search outside the solar system, in the Commonwealth.

Hint: Some corporations sell it at their HQ.

You can try search at JonFerco's HQ. I remember that there was in the Goner tample but i think it will be hostile to u. Or if it's not it is located in Elisium of light check there

Terran commanders are confortable with TOAs, why should they buy an incompatible technology such as jumpdrives?

I think at least one station in the terran sectors should sell the jumpdrive.
Have to search the feature in sectors owned by your foes, seems a little pointless imo.

I agree.

In my game I've not entered terran space yet, so my answers were based on TC wares distribution and on the fact that agleave has sad he has already searched all the solar system for a station that sell jumpdrives.

Maybe in some of the Unknown Sectors at the end of the solar system, or in one of aldrin bases...

Nope, not down there either.
The only place you'll be able to access is Atreus.
Theoretically you can try the Goner Temple, but there's an Argon battlegroup waiting for you right behind the gate.

For all practical purposes you want a fast M5 to head down to Atreus, then have a your start JD on a TM loaded with valkyries, jump down and stick a drive on all of them. Couple of those trips should keep you going for a while.

The other nightmare is the bioscanner, you have no access to that that I can find at all. it's sold at Terracorp, Jonferco and Beryll, even if you hack the stations you don't have the rep to buy the scanner.
As such you're looking at docked 2nd hand ships or hunting down a ship with one on and hoping to strike lucky with random cannon fodder.
