Have captured a Yaki Ryu. Sent it to the shipyard to be sold. Before repairing the ship, it could be sold for 7,410,286 c. After repairing for 1,050,000 c, the sold value of the ship increased to 11,758,296 c.
So it would be logical to always follow this precedure when capturing ships for credits.
Using a Split Cobra and 15*2-5 star marines, operated remotely while I pilot a Hyperion Vanguard to keep the shields down.
Now I also have a damaged Akuma (85%) to sell, with a full loadout of IBL's and PRG's. 73,628,874 + 3,500,000 = 86,026,292. 12,397,418 instant credits = a good deal.
Going to try capturing a Terran Kyoto next. (Prominent docking bays but no fighters can dock here?)4 stars in Mechanical skill + boarding pods does not seem to be enough.
Repair your ships before selling them. And other X3AP news.

Repairing a Ryu with a laser would take a long time. Even with SETA.
It may be more profitable to capture the other one instead.
...
Buying an equipment dock for capital ship operations.
