[X3:AP] Anything in Earth Sector?

So, I saw this transport ship heading outwards in Earth sector for some reason, even though I couldn't see anything there! I SETA'ed in its direction for a short while but nothing.

Am I missing something or is it just some dumb AI thing!?

My unqualified guess would be it is running the avoid collision thing with the Torus remains having a gigantic collision box. Kind of similar to trying to autopilot-dock at the torus in TC.

maybe in your game UFO base spawned in earth sector and the trader was going there? who knows
