How to get a CLS to sell off unlisted missiles/lasers to NPC EQ docks/military bases?

ok, basic issue is that some weapons/missiles aren't very wanted, and so will pile up and not be sold by your factories

yet, equipment docks and military bases WILL buy these if you dock a ship at them manually and sell to them
they'll buy any weapon/missile you have onboard, but they don't keep such in the dock's inventory

but you cannot do such sales, normally, with a CLS trader, which is a real pain, leaivng you having to fill a TL ship full, and sell it off at a shipyard as only way to make profit off such items without a lot of annoying manual trading

however I did read that someone had cracked this issue with CLS traders but forgot to take a note of it, doh,
anyone recall/know way to achieve CLS traders selling such items? :)

Equip a trade extension software, set your station price at 1cr below average, then set your traders (equipped with trade extension software) to perform a 'Manual Trade Run'

Be sure that your trader ship has small cargo bay (lets say 50-100 units. You can use a cheap M5 fighter). Because you can't sell a massive amount of missiles in an EqDock. So, for example using a Mercury, isn't a good idea. You can't sell at once 3000 dragonfly missiles. Doing that way your trader will abort his trade command once he docks in the EqDock.

Now that is a handy bit of info. Thanks for that. :)

Teladi have some fighters that have large cargo holds so they might be your best bet. That way you can sell maximum missiles each time. Just upgrade your cargo bay to exactly as much as maximum missiles would be and not more.
