OK, here's the problem: I was flying the Megalodon in Circle of Labor. I had ISRs installed in the top and bottom turrets. However, most of the guns in those turrets kept uninstalling themselves. When I noticed the guns were missing, I reinstalled them, but when I checked a few seconds later, all but one gun in each turret was uninstalled again. This was only happening with the top and bottom turrets.
I am running vanilla X3AP with the English 1.1 patch. I am playing the Argon Peacekeeper start.
Has anyone else experienced problems with turrets on the Megalodon uninstalling guns?

Wow, that makes so much more sense now. I did check my settings, and turret swapping was on for those two turrets. I sure wish I had known that's how turret swapping worked.
