[TC] Station traders aren't following orders

I've set up a few stations successfully already. I'm not using any mods.

-I've got a factory complex
-Buying energy at 16 credits (totally doable)
-Unlimited Jump range
-4 freighters set to buy energy for the complex
-Each freighter has Trading Software MK1/MK2, Trading Extension, Best buy/sell locator
-Each freighter is "Home Based" to the complex
-Energy is for sale IN THEIR SECTOR for 13 credits
-They have Autojump=yes, range=0, fuel jumps=30
-I have commanded them to "Buy ware at best price: Energy"

They do nothing. They just dock at the station. I issued a command for them to follow me (undock), then reissued the "Buy energy for best price" command. They ignored it and kept following me. I quit the game and reloaded. They continue to ignore my buy command.

Any insight?

Did you transfer some money to the station?
Also, tell them to do nothing and reissue the command.

I told them to do nothing, then reissued the command. They're back in business now. Thanks!

Don't set an unlimited jump range. They'll end up wasting more energy getting to and from the SPP to buy energy for 12 Cr 30 jumps away rather than the 13 Cr fab in-sector.

In addition, if you haven't already, download and install the Bonus Pack and use CAGs. They're a huge improvement over the stock Trade commands.
