Fighter wing commands?

Despite the software I have installed on all of the ships in a particular wing, navigation and combat commands seem rather limited for commanding entire wings of ships rather than each individual one. Am I doing anything wrong?

Try out CODEA or ADS if you don't care about *modified*. Otherwise wings are rather lacking.
