Khaak and xenon- why not OFF PArt 2 for xenon?

Is there a lore reason why there isn't a massive joint effort like OFF to eradicate xenon?

Probably because in the events of TC and AP, the Xenon/Terraformers are very much on the offensive.

On the point of Xenon recovering, their power and sector coverage has grown remorselessly through the games and cannot be stopped by a single Ff. type assault. Such an attempt would result in the Xenon, the most powerful race, going on a rampage to destroy all biological life throughout the known X universe. Is this not why, at the start of Rebirth the Ancient Ones close down the gate system?

There is for the Boron / Argon alliance. After the events of XBtF, the remaining CPU ship fled beyond what is now known as Ocean of Fantasy. The Boron decided to ban eradication of the Xenon because both CPU ships showed self-emergence.

The Xenon had previously shared information with the Split, so the Split know they can be reasoned with.

The Paranid don't share close space with the Xenon, and the Teladi are more concerned with paroling their borders against the rare xenon incursion rather than a massive eradication.

Except for 347.
It could be the basis of another plot however.
Aid a CPU attempting to hack a Xenon Station... (023 could be interesting)
Open a trade route through 347 for NMMC...
Do you miss dangerous pirates?

Personally Ive always dreamed of repairing a derelict rouge Xenon CPU that offered me the option to buy xenon ships. Missions would include bringing the CPU materials to repair and upgrade itself, defending the CPU from the ATF, and retrieving derelict Xenon ships from Xenon sectors for RE.

Nice idea. You could even bring the Boron into it in a bid to shepherd the CPU into a safe region of space to help it on it's way to self awareness, although that might echo the ANH plot a bit too closely...
