Steam-Is it possible?How?-SOLVED

Post by milytar » Sat, 25. Feb 12, 11:25

I have AP via steam and before AP 2.0 i installed fewe mod and some mods of them "wanted" to adding new cat and dat!
So now i want to try AP 2.0 without any mod and i want "clean" game and want delete mods. Some mods authors are left deleteing script/mod description, some not and what is worst i dont remember what new cat/dat contain what i installed allredy. So i desided that "easyest" way is delete whole game and install again-IS IT POSSIBLE when game is downloaed via steam, are i must then again pay to install again AP!
And if that possible without paying again then how i can do it?

Sorry, I don't understand quite what you're trying to do, but since it's is modding-related anyway I'm moving this across to the Scripts and Modding forum.

This is an "if I buy Albion Prelude, install it via Steam, and then uninstall it, will I have to buy it AGAIN the next time I install it?" question.

And the answer to that question is: no, you won't have to buy it twice.

Of course not. Just go to steam and install it again.

The question is, the game was modded, the mods are wanted to be removed, can the game be deleted?

Delete all the Cat/Dat files and all the scripts, or just the entire game, and then in Steam right click on AP, go to Local Files, and hit Verify Integrity Of Game Cache. Steam will then re-download all files that are missing.
