Does anyone have a link to freight drone usage?
I'm trying to buy | collect energy from the solar plant and transport to my Panther (NOT my Dragon >.<) .
When i select buy ware, it seems to only buy 20 of the 1000 or so i wished it to purchase. Then after about 2min it gets destroyed. I know it can hold 800.
Nothing in the message log either.
Am i missing something?

for a drone to return from its launching craft, the launching craft needs an empty docking bay.
since your ship doesnt, you need to tell the drone to just come to a complete stop somewhere in space and then pick it up like it was a crate.
why it isnt buying all the stuff, no idea.

Just saying it forward: I give everyone 2 posts to make good, in context posts(proper english, as always, is optional). After that I'm ignoring what you have to say in that thread that's directed to what we previously were talking about.

Personally, I rarely use the Trade commands. I just tell the drone to dock at the station (at which point I automatically get a message telling me it's waiting), then buy the wares manually and order it to return home.cjlive wrote:Does anyone have a link to freight drone usage?

Drones only have a short lifespan. If you don't pick them back up, they'll die.Then after about 2min it gets destroyed. I know it can hold 800.
Nothing in the message log either.
