Boarding M6 and Larger ships using an M7
After getting very discouraged by the loss of my Hyperion(My first Successful boarding Operation). Destroyed by A Blastclaw, I decided to just get An M7. So I piked up A Deimos for its strong shields and that it can mount PSGs that can rapidly lower Cap ships shields + It is nice to have all 20 Of my marines on board.
So Now that i have upgraded my ship to take on M7s and M2s.
How do I board using this ship? I get no Piracy option when i target A ship i want and when I eject my marines they do not head for the ship. want am i missing?

So to board using all my 20 Marines I Need an M7M?Sylthos wrote:You have to have either an M6 or TP for space walk boarding or an M7M to use boarding pods.
This call is A missiles only load out ship?
How do they cope with ships that have lasers?
Might try An argon M7M at first.
Any recommendations, I care mostly about Shielding, and Cargo capacity
if i pick one up?
When bearding do i have to be flying the same ship i am using to deploy my Marines or can I command one to board while distracting the target in my Deimos?

You can remotely command your M7M to launch marines through the piracy option in the ship's command console. This is especially useful early on when you don't have a missile plex set up yetGus man B wrote: When bearding do i have to be flying the same ship i am using to deploy my Marines or can I command one to board while distracting the target in my Deimos?
Holy crap, question barrage!
1 - Yes
2 - Yes
3 - They stay very far away from other meaner ships, or they call their bigger ship brothers into the fight.
4 - Not really a questuion, but argon ships tend to be well-rounded
5 - No recommendations, as most any M7M's well get the job done.
6 - You can order your M7M to launch Missile Barrages, distractions aren't needed, but can help.

Maybe I will get my Agamemnon that I always wanted.
Tried to space walk Board one many times using a heavy Centure, but my Marines got killed every time. using 20 instead of only 6 will help alot.
By the way this may be slightly off topic but how do i cap A "Venti"
That M3 has ausome! Stats and would love to reverse engineer one when I get my HQ (Will there be a plyer Hq in X3AP ? looks like a vary usefull ship to escort my M7s Say 5 to 10 of those. I understand it will be available in X3AP but is it capable in X3TC?

Target your M7M and press Shift+2 so that you have it in the top right corner. Then lower the shield of your desired target with your player ship. Heck, you could also use an M2 as long as you use the turret toggle hot key.
Once the shields are down, click the M7M ship icon in the top right window, go into the commands tab and launch all marines. This is how I do it. I don't like sitting in the M7M myself. Way to boring flinging hammers and flails.

All of the OTAS fighters are available from the OTAS shipyard in AP, but in TC you'll have to do the corporation missions someone at the HQ will give you. They give you a Venti when you hit rank 7 with them.
It's the only Venti you'll get, so keep it safe until you can RE it.
And the HQ's already in AP.
