UFJD, PHQ, Hub for Terran players - any working mod yet?

Sorry - but I can't seem to find one. It's pretty disheartening that after all this time I will end up with a modified game (first for everything I guess) but I would really like to see the PHQ/HuB/UFJD in action in my Terran Commander game.

Terran Revitalization Project is trying to help fix this issue.

LV also made a quick little mod that allows Terrans to buy a PHQ

I believe XRM is working on a solution as well.

You might want to ask in their respective threads to see how progress is going.

Getting the PHQ into Terran shipyards is easy. Take the existing script that puts it in Boron shipyards and change it to Terran or ATF.

The easiest way to get the hub into the game for Terran is take the TC All plots complete for AP MD that I recently did, and remove the ships from it, leaving the hub portion intact. That will give the hub to the player, regardless of race.

If you leave the spawning of the TL with the PHQ in it, and place it in a Terran sector, then that will give you the PHQ as well.

Let me know if you would like this and I'll do a modified version. If you want all the TC plot ships as well, its just a matter of changing where they spawn.

I've uploaded 2 more versions of the All Plots complete MD.
1. All ships appear in Mars. Money available. Hub to player.
2. Just the Hub to player and the TL with the PHQ in it appears in Mars.

Available in the AP Download area on my HQ site, off the link in my signature.

note :

Hub plot will be TC Hub Plot
HQ can be optained through battle
no UFJD

This will overwrite latest patch so no AP Hub & HQ
for other gamestarts

(i'm thinking of uploading a version that has both AP HUB & HQ plots
& TC Hub Plot + HQ so you can choose which one to play)

Do you miss dangerous pirates?

I don't believe so, it's a pretty simple script though. Did you have a question about it?

From the sounds of it there isn't a plot involved.
Given it's come from LV I was starting to wonder if this is the response to the aftermath of the 2.0 patch and whether or not it would form part of a future patch or addition to the bonus pack?
Do you miss dangerous pirates?
Try leading the target a little more...

You could just create your own gamestarts.xml and change the Terran starts to have plot="1" at the end of their <gamestart> tag. That should just enable all the plots, though you have to get your rep up with the corresponding parties.

..or just copy-paste a start and customize it accordingly with plots enabled if you're going modified anyway. Copy-paste Terran guy and just modify the race relations a bit, and give him variable starting capital and maybe change ship type, and enable plots.

Name doesn't matter as it can be changed, and age is unimportant as is gender beyond the starting description. Again, pic is only for start and doesn't matter after, so no other changes need to be made to language files or whatever.

Drop the new start and gamestart xmls in the right folder-uncompressed-and start your game.
