X2 the threat - Capping with sheilds

Is there a mod that means when you cap a ship it will retain shields :?:

Realy annoyed at having to buy so many shields :evil::!:

If not is there a specific way you can cap to ensure some shields remain :?:

No such mod, as far I know.
Sometime, when you capture ship, in the ship cargo bay remain upgrades and shields too, but this happen not too often.

Firelance does allow you to keep shields much more often than the stock game. The latest stable version is 3.5.9, and there is the 4.0 development version available. 3.5.9 can be found at the link below:
