I belive the title is self-explanatory but still.
Is it possible to add generic combat mission in wich you are ordered to destroy specific station? Of course it should be rewarded properly as you will mos probably get a terrible reputation loss unless you are already at war with station owner.
Thinking further into the idea - is it possible that after accepting the misson you are granted some firepower support and target station recieves protecton ships?
I belive that spawning several ships with "protect" comand is the easiest solution but not sure if it will work properly.
As far as i get the game logic supporting ships could be generated at two points:
1) they are spawned at mission accept and folow pre-given orders wich most probably will lead them to being target dummies.
2) they are spawned when you enter sector specified with pre-given orders. That could lead to diferent ships behaving diferently. Or at least not just fly and atack station with m5.
As well this logic if it is possible could be applied to generic protect station mission. For example - m4-5 are set to "protect" m8s, m3s are wingmen to m6s or something like that.

It is indeed a reverse "protect station" mission but won't that be fun? Especialy with all those 'response' forces and so on. That's a one little raider mission that can escalate to a full-scale sector conflict (especialy if supporting forces are some kind of military forces).
But the bigger idea was to improve the whole scenario of "protect station" mission so those m5-m4 don't even bother killing the station with just their lasers.
