Left Mouse Button will not fire (no mods)

I have an issue with the left mouse button, which will not fire when bound to "boresight fire" in mouse follow mode. Other controls (such as the CTRL key) seem to fire fine, but not LMB. It fires ok in "classic" mode (SHIFT-N), but that's not what I want - and I do not want cursor fire either.

The game is X3:AP 2.0 (as of April 4th 2012). No mods, no tweaks, just the game running on Win XP SP3.

Any hints?

You can't post there because, as it says in the forum description, you need to register your game in your [url=http://forum.egosoft.com/profile.php?mode=editprofile][b]Fo[/b]rum[b]Pr[/b]ofile[/url] first. When you've done that you can post again or PM any moderator for your thread to be unlocked and moved.
