How do you get the UFJD in AP? Do you have to do a plot/mission? I heard that's how you get an Aran, and... I want one. :roll:

You need to do the main AP plot and then they will invite you to two plots that reward you with the Hub, the HQ and the UFJD.

That's a dangerous technique given the Aran's huge number of hull points.

If you're going to use the space suit, check in from time to time to
re-enter the ship and refill your suits air supply. Otherwise it'll run out. Not
a nice way to go.

@ Aidyer: Regarding your method in the Spoilers, how do you recommend getting round the '2 hours or so after coffee mug placed = Game Over' bit - or is there an endless emergency oxygen supply now in X3AP?

That is one of the common complaints about X3AP. Check my sig for a new USC plot that offers a Hub and UFJD option to the Terran Commander start.

Ok find the aran have 5 star marines on hand all trades repair as you need to once hull is accessible then board re enter your home ship andf redo keep repaiting then dock at return to knbown universe and get to your hq asap and re and rebuild

im sure you can mod the game to remove the air supply or to add repair lasers to the game, thats what im going to do
