Player HQ mission.Boron TL

I have just lost 20 highly qualified marines for the second time trying to capture the Boron TL,which is occupied by the Yaki.Can someone give me a clue what I am doing wrong.Thanks.Walneyite

Hi walneyite, sorry your thread nearly escaped me!
As I stated in the linked thread, the standard standard resources for this mission are an M6 and M7M, full of hammer and flail missiles, some mk2 drones, pods and 20 marines fully trained in every thing except fighting.
However when I did it, I had not boarded any large ship and failed with the standard resources and so resorted to my overwhelming force method. If you find difficulty with the extra marines, I can supply a detailed account of the Overwhelming Force method on request!
