Keyboard not working/responding in X3-AP through Steam. (System Restore to get back)
The game is not accepting keyboard commands at all, not even ESC to skip the intro.
It's working perfectly with X3-TC, just not with X3-AP
It worked normally earlyer today but after installing XRM and than removing it stopped so I'm guessing it's a reg key or a setup file I can't find
I deleted the addon folder and than verify integrity, did not work
I deleted the entire X3 folder and verifyed, did not work
Drivers are up to date or else it would not work in TC
PS it's not a wireless keyboard

You are not the first to find an issue with Steam X3AP patches and mods interacting and affecting the keyboard. A system restore to before the messing about with the mods or the update fixed this one.
A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.
Well the problem here is that we have no control over, nor really even any way of knowing, what the mod does that triggers the problem. Clearly it's something the game itself doesn't set up, otherwise uninstalling and reinstalling should have fixed it. You may have to contact the mod's author(s) to try and find out.
One other question: when you uninstalled and reinstalled did you just let the installer remove the files or did you manually delete the game folder? The reason I ask is that if you let the installer do it then any files it didn't know about, i.e. ones put there by the mod, would quite probably still be there after the reinstall.
