If I can't build my own factory - how do I gather.. lets say, a fair amount of Spacefuel? About 250 or so? :)

buy from pirate bases or pirate some freighters carrying it and make them drop it.

Wish I could create some sort of factory that needs spacefuel and jack up the buying price so high that they bring it to me...

there is a factory that takes space fuel to run.. Don't remember which one though. :)

If your rep is good enough! :)

My other issue - good enough rep for non-core - and I can't for the life of me do anything about it. no yaki missions, no escort missions, nothing :(

If you are any good at capping, you could cap a few ships and collect the pilots and turn them into slaves, then sell them at the Yaki Stock Exchange. :)

I can't dock with it. No matter how many times I successfully hack it - it turns blue but like they still dont give me permission to land.. even though I've successfully hacked that. Never seen that before. :(

The only other thing I can suggest is dropping a satellite and keep your eyes open for the pirates who are supid enough to enter Yaki space, then go and kill them. Not ideal, but the only suggestion I have left I'm afraid. :)

Aldrin food production facilities are the best source.

(Assuming, of course, that this is related to the 2.5 plot, so you have good Terran rep.)

And I certainly didn't see it again. I was kid of sad about that. If I'd have known I wasn't getting it back I would have played around with it a bit more.

So it's better to pay cash for that ship instead. A few clicks in the stock markets would save lots of troubles.

Or just shoot it a bit. The guy does in fact bail, and I think, being plot important, you can't actually destroy the shuttle. The only immediate downside is that you lose a little Teladi rep, and I did a few missions for money from them beforehand.
At least, that was the way I did it. Hopefully it won't screw me out of anything much later on.

Can you dock with other stations in that sector?

Even if you're Blue, you might not have sufficient rep for docking rights.
