Which ships can dock a TS?

Im now playing X3AP and thoughout X3TC was frustrated i couldnt find a ship that could dock a TS, ive heard though that AP there are ships that can.

Ive been looking through various sites that give you guides etc to the game but the ones ive found only tell you if the ship contains hangers but no info on what ships they can dock.

Any info or a link to a site that includes this kind of info would be great thanks.

The only vanilla-available ship that can dock TS's (or TP/TM/M6 up) in TC is the Aran; all other ships are fighters only (M3/M4/M5) + drones

I'm not sure if this has changed in AP

I was under the (probably mistaken) impression that the Megalodon and the Kyoto could dock 1 TS/TP class? I don't own AP though, so like I say, probably mistaken.

I knew about the Guppy too, but what about the other three M7Cs, the Cormorant, the Ariadne and the Maccana?

Only the Adriane and the Guppy can dock TS/TP class ships.

Thanks, im a bit suprised the main carriers cant dock them. Might give the Guppy a go then.

terran kyoto
goner aran
goner ozias - not available in vanilla ap?

I am guessing the terran atmospheric lifter isn't fixed but it gives you the option to dock ts ships but can't I think.

megalodon can't dock ts ships.

Burger1's list looks right to me. To clarify slightly:

- Boron Guppy: can carry 1 TS (docks differently than the fighters, but still seems to count against the max docked ships)
- Paranid Ariadne: Same as the Guppy
(I'm blanking on if they can dock TPs ....)

- Terran Kyoto: All its docking slots can hold TS/TP (as well as M6/TM/M8/M3/M4/M5).
- Goner Aran: Same as the Kyoto for its internal slots, they can hold TS/TP/TM/M6 and smaller. (though naturally, the Aran has more slots and also has the one external capital clamp)

The Terran Atmospheric Lifter still 'offers' to dock TSes, but still refuses to actually dock them. And the Goner Ozias (essentially a dedicated TS/TP transport) is not available in vanilla AP afaik.

Edit - Found my old post on this topic. We all forgot about the Valhalla (10 external subcapital clamps)

Guppy - 1 TS/TP External
Ariadne - 1 TS/TP/M8 External

It still uses internal docking ports, I'm fairly sure it can still hold infinite fighters, though I suppose I haven't actually tested. I've had it hold atleast 15 fighters though.
