I claimed an abandoned Kha'ak corvette. I jumped it to a Teladi sy. At first it was listed under 'sell ships' . Now it's only listed under repair or upgrade. Same in Paranid and Terran shipyards. As if no one will buy it from me now. I have the option to sell my other ships at the same shipyard, just not the corvette. I'm hoping I can at least recycle it once I get a HQ.

Not sure if you can recycle it at a PHQ but you certainly cannot RE it there in vanilla.

Cunning if stupid speculative plan follows: Put it in a spare Aran and sell the Aran and you should (?) get credits for the M6 (while losing buckets on your Aran!).

The location is different in every game. Where surferx found his will not be the same location where you will find yours in your game. However, most of the time (but not guaranteed) it can be found in an unknown sector or Savage Spur.

@shea, if you want to know the definite location of the Corvette in your game:

Not only is there a Corvette but also other Kha'ak ships; namely Fighters, Interceptors and Scouts plus one more 'bonus' ship. There are also some 'hidden crates' (often referred to as 'Pandora Crates') which contain engine tunings and rudder optimisations.
If you don't want to go searching for them yourself, there is a script by EmperorJon called 'ej.findwares.zip'. This will give you the location of all the ships and crates in your game. If you follow the instructions properly, it will allow your game to remain 'vanilla'.

Yea i have that script m8,but i never have found a single ship using the script

When I used it I had to make an edit that was suggested in the thread. I found my Khaak Corvette northwest of Getsu Fune with a full load of Kyons (actually had too many), but I only had a couple crates of ship speed/agility upgrades.

It was in unknown sector but they are random. It has beta kyons some with*. It was for sale when first docked at the teladi SY. It said 10 mil.

The '*' next to the weapon just means that is equipped. Any without means you can equip them if you prefer. Also, 10mil. DOES seem a good price for a corvette. However, that price also included the weapons.

It also had a 50% hull. I was planning to repair laser it to 100% before selling.
