Ship in point is the Daedalus from SG1. Regularly loaded the ship via the plugin manager to no problems...outside a funk weapon configuration scheme for the turrets. Pea shooters to the front and back, big guns only on the right, etc, etc. I tried to add guns via the edit ship function of the plugin manager, but nothing but the added gun in a random slot.
So, how do i fix the weapons available for each turret of a finished XSP? I used to have this on speeddial back in the day for X3R, but i cleaned out my bookmarks a long time ago, and i couldn't find it via search. Very good at following directions, so just lay it out for me cuz I can't mod to save my life on my own. lol

The Daedalus has turrets to the front, back, left, right, and up. A spread of 8 guns per direction I wanna say. What I want to do is edit the guns available to each turret as the default alignment since bonkers in TC/AP. Perhaps something to do with the XSP being made back in the X3R days.
Prime example...the front guns....I can't mount PPCs. But I can mount them on the right turrets. And the right turrets only. I wanna change that. Make the front and back cap ship busters and the sides and whatnot my fighter coverage. But in a balanced alignment.
There is an "edit ship" feature for the plugin manager upon right clicking and xsp file. This leads to "customize ship" feature which allows me to change several performance aspects of the ship. There is a tab for "Lasers/Missles" here with laser availablity. There I turn everything on, save, and then save the xsp as a whole before plugging it into the game. That hasn't produced any results. And that's where I'm stuck. lol

the laser availablity is for the front guns only.
as the ship doesn't have any front guns, u wont notice any different.
instead, you have to edit the guns for each individual turret.
if you goto the turrets section instead then select the turrets you want to change.
you could select a built in one, or create your own.
you can also have a different set of guns for each game.
