The above site is very good, you can DL a set up from Mass Effect 1 to import into 2, so you can (for example) import a max paragon player from Mass 1 with all the decisions you want made in there, players you wanted to save, council there or not etc.

Playing Mass Effect 2 right now I see where Egosoft got 90% of its inspiration for XR. The similarities can not be overseen.

I looked at that on my tablet, and after a few seconds all I got was a popup that took over what I was looking at, the only way I could get rid of it was to close the page. And they wonder why we use popup and add blockers.muppetts wrote:http://www.pcgamer.com/sang-froid-tales ... -now-free/

Look up sang froid on steam, it is free and quiet fun tactics game.
yes was on phone and pc gamer is crap for ads but they seem to not care, even on main screen the ads often cover 70% of the page!
I usually use RPShotgun for my web fix but I check headlines on pc gamer, which is more the The Sun and RPS more like The Times, I do not go to PC Gamer for anything they actually write about!

EA's Origin Access subscription service is running a limited time free trial
After undergoing a fairly significant overhaul last year, EA's oft-maligned Origin subscription service became easier, and thus more enjoyable, to use. For a limited time, it's now offering a free seven-day trial which grants users access to its full catalogue of games.
Normally set at £3.99/$4.99 per month and £19.99/$29.99 per year, the service provides access to its free The Vault collection of games, limited-time early access to pre-release games (which includes save transfers should you decide to buy the game at launch), and 10 percent off games in the Origin store.
EA notes games are added "over time", however here's what you serve to gain at present:
The Banner Saga
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 4
Battlefield Hardline
Crysis
Crysis 2
Crysis 3
Crusader: No Regret
Crusader: No Remorse
Dead Space
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3
Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age 2
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dungeons of Dredmore
FIFA 15
FIFA 16
Jade Empire
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Mini Metro
Mirror's Edge
Need For Speed
Need For Speed Rivals
Peggle
Plants vs. Zombies
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Sim City
Sim City 2000
The Sims 3
This War of Mine
Titanfall
Torchlight II
Trine
Trine 2: Complete Story
Unravel
It's not clear exactly how long this offer stands, however is for a "limited time" according to the Origin website. More details can of course be found by following that link.

A couple of things first off EH what link???
The problem with EA is that they have more of a tendency to drop games rather than add games.
That list is pretty bad, in the sense that I have picked up most of those games over the years either for free, or on the cheap.
So no thx, but hey all to their own.

Btw whoever has not yet played Kotor take this chance and play it! It is great.

I've heard good things about KOTOR ...
If you wouldn't mind I'd like to give it a look, but wouldn't buy it normally (with my very limited budget).
Thanks very much.
Rug.
P.S. If someone else is desperate for it, then I'll defer politely to them...

I like to think everyone just wants to feel human.

Heard good things about KOTOR as well. By the way, there's a fan-made retexture patch for that AND a community bug-patch that fixes some issues, here and there, AFAIK.
SWBFII and SW:EaW are two "must have" titles in anyone's stable of "awesome fun games."
Check the Steam SWBFII forums and guides for fixes for the "Sound Glitch" and for multiplayer through third-party apps. (Basically, they have a front-end and re-direct the old Gamespy IP using a substitute hosts file.) Also, if you have an AMD-based card, you may need to check the guides/forums for fixes if you run into texture glitches.
There's a huge number of mods/maps for SWBFII, as well. To be honest, with all the mods out there and neat stuff one can load up, it's one of the best darn arcadish FPS games out there, bar none.
SW:EaW is tons of awesome, well polished and a really nice game. There are some great mods out there, too, and some of them can really push one's vid-card and the capabilities of that game. (Some are a bit overdone, IMO.) Unmodded, it's still one of the best Strategic RTS games out there. Modded, it's even more. There's also multiplayer with that, but it's not really popular, though people still post asking for others to play. (The MP game is very, very, different from the standard single-player, with a greatly expanded "RTS" game than the standard experience.

There is also flawless widescreen a program that allows you to play old games (like Kotor) in 1080p.
Btw if we should not have enough Kotor keys for the people who want one I will offer to organise more.
It really is that great of a game. Just do yourself a favour and go in as blind as possiable and avoid reading anything up.
(I hope you can forgive my fanboy hype for Kotor but it is my favourite video game. Even my profile picture shows a character from the game.)

I've two keys gathering dust here, got them for backing the upcoming System Shock remake. So if someone's interested in these classics, I'd happily share:
System Shock: Enhanced Edition
System Shock 2
Both are taken.
