cannot get my teladi rep up

I've been trading my ass off on the stock exchange in siezewell. i've made over 60mill and reached the merchant rank of manufacturer, yet i've only achieved 50% teladi profit initiate....

why isn't my rep going up with teladi for trading in there local exchange?

I had a problem with increasing Teladi rep some time ago and I still don't know whether it was a bug or not. Eventually it did go up and I was left with a feeling that maybe this race is different in this regard. But try this: Dock at any Teladi tradion station, and buy one item from them. Then sell it back again. Repeat say twenty or fifty times. If your rep doesn't increase then try again in another five minutes.

Trade items, the Teladi do not respect the stock exchange, that is false profits.

Stock Exchange has no effect on anything except your bank account. It was added to give experienced players a leg up, but unfortunately there were no trading controls added to keep new players from accidentally skipping the important early stuff.

I'd suggest starting over and ignoring the Stock Exchange until you reach Trader rank at least.

If you stick an mk3 sector trader in teladi space you can raise your rep over time.

These are good trading grounds for increasing rep
