[XTC]Any way to undock besides sidebar?

Post by spoidz » Tue, 4. Sep 12, 00:45

Sorry if I missed it but search is no help and I can't find it in the controls setup.

Is there any way to undock outside of using the sidebar button? I want to set a hotkey using my joystick and can't find anything to attach it to.

I don't have docking computer upgrade yet on my new start, does that add a new interface hotkey?

Thanks

There should be a key for closing all menus. This will select undock and then you press the "select option" key (Enter as default).
The DC can have a hotkey too.
Right on commander !

Try using the joystick to maneuver through the menus. That should let you move to the undock button.

Thanks guys,

I know that's how it works, there just isn't a single sequence to allow a keybind.

I'll have to build a macro on one of my X52Pro buttons instead.

OK got it sorted just had to joybind the ESC and then Enter with a slight delay.

I'm trying to get as much as I can without the sidebar, it's real clunky compared to X3R for me.

Or you could just hit <delete> and enter - no delay.
Maverick: Requesting permission for flyby.
Air Boss Johnson: That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.
Goose: No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.
Maverick: Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz a Split.
Split: Split now give you .... Aaaarrriiiigh.

The sequence was giving a little glitch at first so I added the delay, I took it back out and it's OK now but there is still a delay sometimes getting out of the station menu, especially if Betty is making an announcement at the same time.

I'll try the DELETE-ENTER next and see which one works best, thanks.
