simplified wing commands
ok, i'm sick of fishing through menus already.
is there a way you can make common commands to your wings such as "gold wing, dock at, your carrier" a lot easier to get to without having to go to property, select a fighter, then command console, then navigation, then dock at, then select the sector and then select the carrier?
or is this game going to eventually drive me insane?

Other than macros you can remove some of the steps required if you use the monitor. Pick the fighter & open it in a monitor. Then if it survives you have direct command access to that fighter by simply clicking on the monitor & picking 'navigation'
I hope I've explained that clearly enough..

I'm not sure if it's possible, but you can command all ships in the sector.
you can choose different shiptypes to command.
it would be handy if you could sent ships back to their homebase.
if that's possible then you can order multiple ships back to several carriers.
you only have to set homebase for the ships once.

Till their homebase gets blown up. Then you have to set it again.DiArmada wrote:I'm not sure if it's possible, but you can command all ships in the sector.

I though of the home base idea. when you set a carrier as a home base, it shows up on the fighters command console as
<carrier name> in <system it was in when u assigned i
if the carrier moves to another system, it still shows the original system rather than the one its currently in. not sure if that will cause issues
