X-Tension Perseus Mission bug?

I'm playing X-tension. I finally got the Perseus mission. The quest giver says that I have approximately 5 hours to complete it.

According to my personal log, exactly 30 minutes has elapsed since I was first offered the Perseus mission.

But I'm getting a message from Paranid Prime:

"You did not understand the importance of the situation. Unfortunately, it is too late now. The Perseus prototype fell into the hands of the enemy! The community of planets set all their hopes on you. Your unreliability did irreparable damage and will unfortunately have dire consequences for you."

Edit: Just replayed the mission from the start. This time I am not getting that message. So it was a bug.
