Albion Prelude

Having played BTF, ReUnion and Terran Conflict I was looking foward to something radically new

something rather like X Rebirth

However I'm not sure about Albion Prelude

Does it has a good plot - are there any new sectors - new ships - are there any big surprises ?

Yes, the biggest surprises come if you don't read this.

New ships are good, I don't think there are new sectors. Plot's pretty bad but I ignore it. War sectors are hateful.

There are several new and renamed/developed sectors compared with X3TC (Albion sectors and Megnir & Segaris, etc).
A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.
