(AP) IBL Forges not producing
So I've been working with the Yaki pretty extensively, feeding their IBL Forges with materials. I've got ~8-10 Springblossoms running from my ship materials factory in Savage Spur down to Senator's Badlands to keep the forges fed. Stocks are all pretty high, the Space Weed and E-Cells almost always being topped off, and I just added ~4 (for that aforementioned total) Springs to deliver Space Fuel/Weed and Ore to the two fabs.
But even though I'm funding the fabs like mad, they're not MAKING anything. Any cause for this? Like, could the factory be making them then NPCs come by and buy them up before I get back to my PC?
Hopefully they sort themselves out soon. Need to finish kitting out my Shrike escorts.

I'm not playing AP, but maybe the npc's are buying them up before you get back, an idea is to use a spare ship to just sit in the IBL forge and to automatically buy them for ya once they are made, It's what i'm trying to do in my TC game when buying up some missiles and some people have suggested using CLS - maybe this could be your answer also.
X3TC - Awesome
AP - Just started playing - Looks impressive
don't play Reunion - Too old
Rebirth - we all know the problems here

You don't need NPC to supply them (and they would get killed anyway because of Yaki defense). The production cycle is fairly long for IBL and I think if you hit an idle cycle, it will last as long as production cycle meaning that you just need to wait until they start producing after you topped of their resources.
Secondary resources do nothing. They're just there to provide a market for those goods. They do not affect production in any way.shaun bergin wrote:They need all their rescources and secondary rescources topped up even so it takes a while to manufacture a single IBL
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Also the IBL needs at least 2:30 h to produce one as i recall.

Nanook;
You say secondary rescources are for the players use I have found it other wise.
And I note The OP ststes they are now producing ?.
I am playing AP and the PSP forge in Luna would not start a production run until I filled its secondary rescources up.

When traveling pause occasionally, look back and enjoy the moment again.
Just a coincidence...a production run does not start immediately a station has its required resources, it has to wait for the next cycle to start, and that can take a while; so the station happened to start producing by itself a couple of hours after it had all its primary resources in place. You feeding it secondary resources made no difference whatsoever.shaun bergin wrote: I am playing AP and the PSP forge in Luna would not start a production run until I filled its secondary rescources up.

I remembered needing IBL's for my ships when starting AP, so I did just the quick cheesy thing in Weaver's Tempst and installed 1 complex with space fuel, Delexian Wheat, solar plant, crystal factory, cahoona & cattle ranch & outside ore and silcon plants, I had transporters directly to both IBL factories -feeding them, & only has a couple of transports in both IBL factories to occasionally when I had the money -Buy them. Always full up, apart for now and then someone buys the whole 8 stock out (Happened so far once to me)
But I recommend to you to set up your own little complex (not expensive) and have external commodity logistics take the IBL's straight away from the factories once they are made...
