Mining asteroids

Hi, guys!

I cannot find the topic what I'm looking for. I wanted to ask you, is it possible to mine asteroids to get money? Thanks!!

Yes. Purchase a Mineral Scanner for your ship, fly within 10 km of an asteroid and scan it. You'll get a mineral result and a number, the higher the better. You can purchase a Silicon or Ore mine from a shipyard and place it on the asteroid of your choices. It works like a normal factory after that.

You can also do mobile mining, guides for which are in the FAQs
