Scavenging these two players reports from the main XTC 2.0 thread ,
I thought of starting a "what Scripts work with XTC 2.0" thread, just for easy reference .

Glossary:
Green = Working
Blue = See Notes
Purple = Not Working

Do not install cat/dat mod files . Only scripts and t folders .
LJBurstyn reports: Some test results....
Stations can be "crunched" into the complex if they are placed inside the big boxes....but they will not COMBINE into larger factories...A medium factory stays a medium factory but can be added to the complex...example
Argon Beef Factory (XL) becomes a FACT Argon Beef 10...it will not combine with another FACT Argon Beef 10 to become a FACT Argon Beef 20...
A Large becomes a FACT XXX 5.
A Medium becomes a FACT XXX 2.
A Small (or no indication of size) becomes a FACT XXX 1.
A XXL becomes a FACT XXX 20.
The XXX is the factory type (Beef, Meatsteaks, Solar, whatever).
If you place an Argon Beef Factory (XL) randomly in the sector but not inside the big boxes it will NOT become a FACT Argon Beef 10. At least it doesn't in a already built complex sectors.

It seems that it depends on the type of ships (race).
Examples of configuration: ( by Yacek on main XTC thread)
Katana - Ships Carpenters
PX - Repairs Drone (I did not have any, and the ship repaired very quickly)
M6 Khaak - Crystaline growth (Slowly, but it repair)
Marines on the ship are not required, but players have reported controversial experiences with ships trying to autorepair .

--NewRaceRankings by vukica. - it displays the new titles but ranks are different and I noticed some levelling glitches. i.e. went to 11 in fighting 3 times in same fight.
--Ranking Dial by Wercho. - you can configure how fast or slow you want trading and fighting rank to go up. I cut trade in half and fighting to 10 or 30%. Newracerankings may not be at fault for glitch. further testing needed.

I am getting a bug with anarkis defence right now. if i enable auto carrier, ill sometimes get spamed with all the wings that were destroyed, like blue, orange, purple and so forth, but the thing is i dont have any of those wings.


So there seems to be some minor conflicts with it. The rest ive posted there work well.

I did put complex cleaner BEFORE the 2 mod patches XTM uses. Think i read if you did that it works perfectly, and so far i havent had any problems with it myself.

Im assuming with M.A.R.S. that the T-file will need to be redone for 2.0. I wont know for sure untill they release a manual since im to lazy to open up the cat files and look myself ;)

Added in Disable Turrent from gaz, works fine.

Marine repairs V2 updated by Drbullwinkle works fine on my TM. I havent tried it with a M1 or M2. I know XTM has options for docked ship repair and hull regeneration, but I dont have any of those larger ships to test. And im resisting cheating as of now.

Cycrows cheat scripts seems to work fine.

Bullwinkles Ejection seat works so far. Ive been ejected alot, but ive always been chase down and killed by pirates. More testing probably needs to be done with it to double check with the all the config options with it.
The mongrels will never get over THIS wall.

Basic Cockpit 6 works, since it doesn't modify any files at all.

However, one player reported a crash with the cockpit mod installed every time he hopped into a Teladi Vulture, I've not been able to confirm that.

Did you install the v1.01 update? Among other things, it speeds up the jet pack. Between the jet pack and thrusters (WASD keys), you should be able to escape many enemies; especially if you Barrel Roll. (Yes, you can Barrel Roll with your jet pack!)

The optional mod will further improve your chance of survival, although it would have to be adapted for XTC. (It is an easy change if you are comfortable with X3 Editor and/or types files).

Aye, did the 1.01 update/install. I havent ejected for awhlie since i switch to economical game for awhile. Ill try some more testing with it later. As for editing the optional mod part, i havent yet. Mostly because i havent played X3 for about a year so once i get my fix out, ill take a look at it and try to remember how to use it, lol.

Side not on your scripts, love how you do your informational posts on em.

I've just installed XTC 2.0 and really miss my old scripts. I came across this post and has got me interested. Where can I find the 1.2 compatibility patch and what does it do exactly?

Okay, not a mod, but what about Scorp's Map?
It worked for me in 1.2, but now it crashes constantly.
Did somebody tryed it too?

A few scripts that are listed here, it is built into the XTC (eg, STO, SCS).

But join another one. Also you can check the XTC without a script. But if anyone wants easier without prolemu does this script: Ranks for Xenon, Kha'ak, Pirates and Yaki

I know SCS is part of it, but STO? Quite sure I remember Aragorn Speed stating that the STO script will be compatible with 2.0, but not integrated.

Also, the STO options didn't come up until I put them in.

See the AL settings. There is an option STO. However, how it works, we'll find the instructions XTC (when it is).

Hmm, I believe you do need to have the script installed for it to work, the option may be there, but full intergration isn't, if I'm going to go by what's said here...

Removing the script will remove the function, as I've binded the STO to a hotkey yet it doesn't work anymore, nor does it work through the Ship Interface, unless the script is installed.

Thanks for link for this one. I forgot about this one. As a reminder for anyone useing this or gaz's one. this uses -5 to 10 for ranks, while gaz's uses -4 to 11 for his.

Both are great and seem to work fine with XTC.
The mongrels will never get over THIS wall.

FDN 8.04 seems to be okay thus far, I'll update further if something goes amiss.

Has anyone had any luck getting MARS to work? I really miss my little goblin buddies.

... or a compatible cockpit mod?

Do you have a link to Imps cockpit ?

I have found shawns and psco1's (he has a 1.2a xtended version for tc 3+ which might work)

However i would like to try imps as i am used to psco1's from the 1.2a game.

There you go, it's the first one on the list. I wouldn't try psco1 if I was you, it will not work because of the amount of changes that it will make to the mod.

Also, I remember using that for 1.2a, and it would cause random crashing every time I would enter a sector, took me ages to realize it was that specific mod.

Thanks for the link, Xydonus. X3 is much more immersive with cockpits.

Edit: Unfortunately, the cockpit mod causes a CTD upon loading the game. I've tried with with both cat/dat files, just the ITS_X3TC_AP_CP_Basis_6 files, and with just the ITS_X3AP_CPpatch files, and it doesn't work at all.

That's very strange, because it works for me, and there is no reason why it should crash...

Did you install it right? Number the non-patch files after the last .cat/.dat ones? Example, my last ones were 15/15, so I renamed the Basic 6 .cat/.dat 16/16.

Then you create an addon folder inside your installation, and put the patch in that calling it 01.cat/01.dat, then that should work.

Don't put the patch files inside the installation folder, they need to go into an addon folder.
