Keyboard strafing question.

My question concerns X3-TC. I am unable to use the WASD keys to strafe my fighter. Q and E do allow for barrel rolling however and all the rest of the keyboard commands seem to be working just fine.

I unbound and re-bound the WASD keys to the strafing commands, but the game still will not allow me to strafe.

When I did the original install of the game, I had a joystick plugged in, and that does allow for strafing, just not the keyboard. I have since unplugged the joystick and tried unbinding and rebinding the keys again, but still no luck.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Possibly Silly Question Department: You are trying to strafe from the normal cockpit view, right?

Also: are you sure it's not working? The effect can be quite subtle. Best way to test it is to park your ship in front of a station and then strafe--you should be able to see the movement quite easily then.

I am doing it from the cockpit view yes.

I will try parking in front of a station and see if I can tell. Thanks.
