Enemy not bailing their fighters?

Post by aXeldk » Wed, 20. Feb 13, 11:12

Okay I fly around in my heavy centaur and have phased repeater guns in all 3 turrets

Besides looking good with red bullets spewing out in almost every direction and beating up most fighters I havent had a single pilot bailing out from their ships?

Wont the enemy bail when I shoot them with my turrets?

I got 90% militant ranking and when I flew around in my Nova I got bailers all the time :( now I get none...

Get a bio scanner and check their morale ranking every player goes through a stage where no one bails as the rng adapts to your game persevere and you will soon be capping again.
When traveling pause occasionally, look back and enjoy the moment again.

You can only see ship morale in a 'show additional info' option with the Script Editor open; then you are in a game marked as modded.

No, it doesn't--so long as you're flying the ship yourself any of its guns can score you a capture, even the ones under computer control.

I finally did it... been waiting for several hours before I finally got a catch... had taken like 5-6 xenon invasion missions before one of them gave up and ejected the AI out of the airlock

Xenon ships are harder to cap than others.

Most of the time I care about capping prototype ships. I loved finding the Argon High-Tech Traders and then forcing them to bail for a nice Nova Prototype ship. It could be aggravating at times though when the jerks were willing to die so often.
