Treasure hunt TL capturable?

Hi all,
I'm getting ready to do the final step in treasure hunt, and I'm wondering if the juicy Pirate albatross in capturable. Has anyone done so?

Yes, I've already searched for the topic elsewhere. It may exist, but I couldn't find it.

I'm not 100% but I am fairly sure you can board and cap it just like you would any other TL. I've never tried this though, but I seem to remember some vague reference to it on these very forums about 18 months ago.

Ok, thanks. I've got to kill the escorts and get its shields down anyway. Blowing it up would seem a terrible waste of credits :twisted:

Warning. Some times even after you let the TL go after the crew is rescued. It will have a chance to still fail. Usually it will then be capped on the second try. Sometimes on your first thou.

It is defintely boardable. But last time I capped the ship, it vanished after the end of the plot. I would advise to sell the TL before that stage.

That gave me a great image of an angry merchant chasing you down about how you sold him a "vanishing TL".
