Factories in X Tension

I have been playing the game of X Tension. Boy I got a shock about the prices at the start. I am wondering if you put down a factory and you dont want it after awhile. Are you allowed to blow it up??

Don't know if it's the same in X-Tension, but in X3 you can dock at the station and then there's a self-destruct option on the sidebar menu. Look for something like that.

Self destruct was added in later games. You are of course allowed to blow it up. If you don't have the firepower (although you should be able to do it with a M3), you could use a TL to play asteroid snooker.
