Paranid Invasion Group Attacked - 4 Perseus capped !

I just found a new thing. I’m sure many veterans has seen it or done it already. But for the benefit of newer players, I’ll report it now.
I am playing Tormented Teladi start for a change. I’m at 10.5 hours with a deadline of 12 hours. I have the $2.7 Mil bounty, but I see a nice opportunity in Interworlds. I just got a Mamba and outfitted it.

When I get to Interworlds, I see something better. An Argon task force is attacking a Paranid invasion force headed by a Nemesis. There are 7 Perseus and Perseus Vanguards as escorts, and some others. I’ve avoided these invasions forces before, or just scavenged the battle debris. So I reload and approach the Paranid fleet.

I attacked the escorts and brought their shields down to 86%. One bailed. This was before the battle started. I got the shields down on 4 other M3s. Since it was before the battle, they had time to recover before they started with the Argon. After the Argon killed the Nem, the escorts fled south. I picked up 3 more of them before they got to the gate. There was no waiting for shield recovery since I had already taken them down to 86% before. While I was near the gate, two Paranid Caimin came through. I got them both. So 4 M3s and 2 Caimins in 15 game minutes – nice!

One important thing was this: If the target didn’t turn red, nobody else from the invasion force turned red and attacked you. Another thing: when two fleets fight each other, they don’t have much time for you.

I have attacked a few attack groups ins their enemies space, I've even had a couple of them bail, but never to the extent you describe Bill. Very nice grab indeed.
