But how do I make the Dreadnought dock at the shipyard? The command just is not present!

I did it by transferring on board and using docking computer

And if you're willing to dig round in the game files you can mod it so the M2+ ships can actually dock at stations Just requires re-adding the docking command to the commands available for the ships iirc

Would have done it myself and provided the instructions, but hit a bit of fun with my depression symptoms that knocked me out of playing X3...
