X3tc audio trouble

Hi all has any1 else had this problam i cannot hear anything over the comms the box shows up i can see the person who is on the ship/ startion but there is no sound coming from it all other audio seams to work fine i had the same problam with x3r i have window 7 installed and had a problam with the driver protection on x3r but wen i installed this everything loads ok just carnt hear anything over the comms any ideas as to how i fix this
