Dealing with hostile laser turrets?
A while back I used a Kestrel to map the Terran systems while playing as Argon. Everyone was hostile to me, but the Kestrel was too fast for them to hit me. In the process, I must have "permanently" aggravated all the laser turrets I flew by.
Later, I improved my reputation to positive and Terrans are no longer hostile, but the laser turrets guarding the jump beacons still are, and unlike ships, there is no way for me to ask for ceasefire.
Is there a good way to make them not hostile? Of course I can destroy them all, but the problem that it is hard to destroy the lasers without also destroying the jump beacons, which I don't want to do.

have a ship launch a bunch of missiles at them, switch to another ship, and jump the ship you used to launch them to another sector. The LT's won't know what hit them.
