Help! Why don't my Boron Dolphins accept Universe Trader command in X3R?

Help! Why don't my Boron Dolphins accept Universe Trader command in X3R?

Hi guys,

I have recently bought a few Boron Dolphin Haulers, decked them out with all upgrades, including Trade Software Mk3 and set them as System Traders. They have reached pilot lvl 8+ but for some reason they will not accept the start Universe Trader command.

I am running X3 Reunion 2.5 with no mods. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Have you at least one 25 MJ shield in each of your Dolphin Haulers installed? That's the mininum shield requirement for Universal traders. Also check your logbook. If there's something wrong with the Universal Trader he will normally send a message to the player logbook.
