X3R CLS Pilot training

So I figured out how to make a little race track for pilots to train with a nifty little guide on here, but I seem to have one odd problem. Sometimes, the pilot's rank won't update when i select the ship...it'll just be stuck on Apprentice. But when I move the pilot to another ship, it'll say he's a freight pilot since he's been training for quite a while. Is there any way to force an update on the pilot rank display without having to move ships, or is there a different place to check?

As I recall for Reunion, you need the Trading System Extension software installed on the CLS/CAG ship for them to train up. Don't confuse this software with the Trade Command Mk I, II, or III softwares.
