Before flaming me, let me state that I spent hours looking through threads for a solution.
What I need:
Basically a tutorial for scripting or a 3rd party tool or mod that could enable me to change sectors at will.
With changing, I actually mean to be able to for example change a background, visibility, add/remove planets/suns/nebulae etc.
Is there a tutorial on this for X3TC's script editor? If not can someone at least write some examples on what to do?
Help will be greatly appreciated and I will consider You a nice person

also, i suggest using my LoCo as an example.
you just need to extract map files with cat manager.

twice in one day is someone asking about this... funny...
EDIT: but basic thing is, you should extract existing x3_universe.xml and change that.
