Post by Skillzfire » Thu, 7. Nov 13, 11:23

i have the X re balance mod installed and im running x3ap in windows xp compatibility

strange thing is the music used to work fine before i installed AP :(
Death is not a hunter unbeknownst to its prey, one is always aware that it lies in wait. Though life merely a journey to the grave, it must not be undertaken without hope. Only then will a traveler's story live on, treasured by who bid him farewell. But alas, my guest's life has ended, his tale left unwritten

Unless you can reproduce it in a completely unmodified game (not simply removing the mods and then loading a modified savegame) we will have to assume it's the mod causing this and leave you to take it up with the authors.

Hi, you haven't really given us a lot to work with there. Hint.

Have you verified the bits of the games that are not modified? It is also possible that your mod has interfered with the X3AP files - or vice versa, whichever was installed last. That is an issue you need to take up in the S&M forum.

Windows N does not come with Windows Media Player so you need to install it, or at least its WMA codecs, to get around this.

Then I am tempted go with X3AP and XRM files overwriting each other maybe. Does XRM itself change sector music? I really think you need to pursue this in the XRM S&M thread.

Il do a fresh install of everything see if that fixes it, if i recall the music does change in XRM however if a fresh install does not fix it il ask on the XRM thread.
