And X-rebirth is back on top again. Also I believe, that the Top Sellers is worked on number sold, not price, which would mean that XCOM:Enemy Within would basically have to sell 4 copies to each one X-Rebirth sells.

Also Enemy Within is also released tomorrow in Europe, however its likely to be just after midnight so its possible a lot of people are buying something to keep them going until Rebirth is released.

I won't be surprised if XR sales jump up again after tomorrow. There will be people who are waiting for reviews/gameplay videos before they buy.

Not really as every AAA title hits #1 the day or week it is released. Even 10.00 games can take that spot the day it goes on sale.

It's be far more impressive if it stays there for several weeks/months.

The only time I check the list is to see if something has gone on sale or released that I missed since it will be on the top or near it for at least the first few days.

Great space sims are so rare and it is great to see one getting released and puts a smile on my face to see it knock generic junk of the top spots.

I really hope that being on the top selling list helps put it out there that the game exists and brings in way more people to the game. Go Egosoft, you deserve this moment!

Oh and speaking of achievements, how is it that there are already achievements logged on steam? The game hasn't been released yet in any part of the world.... Right?

But X isn't an AAA title, really. And no past X game, I believe, has ever come close to being a top seller in any category (we can probably thank Steam for making it possible). So for Egosoft it is an impressive achievement.

What's telling is how it behaves after release. If it's a bug ridden mess, the bad Metascore will sink it very quickly regardless of how Egosoft patches it up later. Let's hope they've taken the time to polish it first, even at the expense of holding back a few features for later release in a patch (though not a DLC or the forums will riot

).

im happy with X-Rebith and X-Com sharing the top, as long as CoD Crap Ghost doesnt make it back up, worst COD i ever played (story line)
