Need a new computer sadly :/

Teh old core 2 duo e6600 isn't going to cut it this time lawl, but hopefully I'll be able to get a new computer by March.

The E6600 will have a hard time, but if it's decently overclocked and has a somewhat proper graphics card of it's time (aka GTX260 or the like) it might actually work.

In fact, I am using a similar aged overclocked quad-core Q6600 here and it is still an outstanding CPU if used with decent other components. It's never been worth yet to upgrade this to an i7, though this looks differently for the dual-core version.

I might still pick up a Q6600 if I see feedback that it works well enough, as I have a HD6850 2 gig card brought when I was last able to work fulltime.

(can just afford it, I <3 being stuck on welfare due to depression)

The only responses on the forums this weekend will be people moaning about tiny pointless things. The ones of us enjoying the game will be doing so quietly for most of the weekend I expect ^_^

Think of what the steam forum will be like

It'll make the egosoft forums look heavenly by comparison.
