Mouse Interface Problems in 1st Person Mode
Mouse control tends to cut out for me when in 1st person mode, typically when aiming at the center of the screen. It's making everything d**n near impossible to do with the mouse from walking around to selecting people to talk to and items to open. It also appears intermittent, but happens probably 80% of the time. Anyone else having this problem?
I'm running version 1.12, I'm not sure of my system specs anymore since this is the first PC game I've bought in years (probably since X3), running Win7 x64. Basically around min required specs and running the game as low quality as possible.

I had this problem whilst i had My X52 Pro plugged in, and was trying to set that up, however because thats currently impossible to do, i disconnected it, and all of a sudden my mouse started working perfectly.

No joystick here. Perhaps there are two similar bugs, or the bug has two different causes. Do you have multiple monitors Legionnaire? RogueAngyl, do you have a joystick or multiple monitors?
So I went back and played with my other monitors turned on, and indeed whenever this happens the mouse has left the center screen and gone over to the right-hand monitor. (The game only appears on my central, primary monitor because I'm not using eyefinity or whatever they call it these days to span everything across all of them.)

No single monitor here, 1680 x 1050 resolution.
As soon as my joystick was unplugged i got immidiate fluid (normal) control over my mouse.

We found in another thread Track IR is also a culprit for causing problems. So if by chance you have that or similar plugged in try unplugging it.

Unplug everything except keyboard and mouse, I guess.
Mine is (A) pulling up and left constantly, (B) turning mouse steering off constantly, and I was also having the issue described in this thread until I unplugged the joystick (but then I have the "up and left" issue).
Going to unplug everything and see if the %&#*( game is playable with a keyboard only, lol.
UPDATE: With ALL peripherals unplugged except monitor, headset, mouse and keyboard, it works. Yay!

anyone with an X52 pro and this problem, set your Throttle to neutral (center) when you dock your ship or when you are in First person view.
You should set it until you can just barely see past 3 of the 4 leds behind the throttle.
For some reason it interferes with the mouse unless its centered.
BF4 had a similar issue that caused my character to fire his gun constantly while the throttle was in any position besides neutral.
